More Volunteer Opportunities American Cancer Society Road to Recovery Volunteer Position: American Cancer Society Road to Recovery Volunteer Driver Position Description: Want to Help Someone Along the Road to Recovery? Drive a Cancer Patient to Treatment! -Volunteer drivers are needed to transport patients to/from scheduled treatment appointments. -Thousands of newly diagnosed cancer patients will never receive lifesaving treatment simply because they have no transportation. You can put cancer patients back on the road to recovery! -Volunteer drivers donate a few hours of their time each month to help save the life of a local patient. The commitment is small, but the impact is immeasurable.
