Emergency
Service Guild:
The members of this guild assist the nurses
on duty by filling out forms, running errands,
providing comfort for the family, serving
coffee, changing linens, watching restless
patients, and preparing instruments for sterilization. |

Gift
Service Guild:
The Gift Service Guild members maintain and
staff the Gift Shop in the Hospital where
visitors and employees may purchase gifts,
cards, flowers and candy. Patients may also
make purchases. |

Grobhiser-Family
Service Guild:
Family Service members assist surgical patients'
families by providing comfort, assistance,
coffee and tea while families wait for a loved
one who is in surgery. |

Loan
Service Guild:
The members buy and lend equipment to patients
and home care patients. They loan equipment
such as crutches, wheelchairs, walkers, and
infant car seats. |
|
Magazine
Service Guild:
Magazine Guild members buy and distribute
magazines throughout the Hospital to have
available for patients' and visitors' reading
pleasure. |

Medical
Scholarship Guild:
Members provide scholarships for students
entering college for a nursing career. The
scholarship money is obtained from dues and
donations of Memorial gifts from anyone and
in any amount. The Guild has an "Annual
Christmas Nut Sale". Profits from the
sale go for scholarships. |

Nursery
& Pediatric Guild:
The members make and purchase toys to distribute
to hospitalized children. The members also
make "stockings" for the newborns
for December. The Guild holds a parenting
education booth at the annual Kiwanis Parenting
Fair in Sturgis each January. The members
also sell Kroger gift certificates to raise
funds. The Guild receives a 5% profit on the
sales. |

Popcorn
Guild :
Popcorn Guild members pop corn in the Hospital
cafeteria for visitors and employees every
Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 am to 7:00
pm. They also take the popper to various outside
functions. The money they make is used to
purchase equipment for the Hospital. The Popcorn
Guild consists of men and women. |

Tray
Guild:
The members are responsible for the lovely
tray favors that are put on the Hospital patient's
noon meal tray - on each Monday and Thursday
all year long. They also make tray favors
for all other special calendar days of the
year. They often provide favors for other
special functions at the Hospital. |
