Sturgis Hospital Foundation Fund
Gateway to a Healthy Future
…Then, Now & Always
Sturgis Hospital Foundation Funds
Endowment
& Special Project Funds
within the Sturgis Area Community Foundation
Your future healthcare needs, along with the
needs of your loved ones, depend upon community
support for the Sturgis Hospital Foundation
Funds. The cost of providing quality healthcare
continues to increase at a rapid pace, but
your financial contribution can assist the
Hospital in meeting its goals to serve you
and your family for generations to come. By
becoming a regular Foundation donor, you are
making an investment in the future-one that
ensures Sturgis Hospital can provide quality
healthcare for all of us, our children and
our community. |

We need
people like you who are willing to invest
in the future.
Sturgis Hospital strives to improve its equipment,
facilities and services, and to implement
the latest technological advances available
in order to stay up-to-date with the changing
needs of our patients. Your support can assist
in that effort.
The goal of the Foundation Advisory Board
is to promote and develop the availability
of quality healthcare at Sturgis Hospital,
so we may continue a proud tradition of offering
excellent medical services to our community.

Our
Beginnings
The original Sturgis Memorial Hospital (now
known as the Grobhiser Medical & Professional
Building) was the vision of William C. Grobhiser.
His bequest along with donations from several
area families and organizations were the beginnings
of Sturgis Hospital which opened its doors
February 20, 1925 and has been treating patients
ever since….
Over the years, Sturgis Hospital has strived
to maintain its quality of care, state-of-the-art
equipment and utilize the newest technologies
and medical treatment to care for a growing
population. The Hospital |
| is really about caring for
a community of people-then, now and always-we
were here for your grandparents and parents,
and we want to be here for your children and
grandchildren. |
Our
Mission
The Sturgis Hospital is a nonprofit organization
that created a Foundation Advisory Board that
exists to raise funds and other means of support
for Sturgis Hospital. The Foundation Advisory
Board values the community's health needs
and to that end works to generate financial
and volunteer support needed to improve the
community's health and wellness. Gifts to
the Foundation Funds help ensure that our
city hospital will continue to provide quality
and compassionate care to the patients it
serves throughout our community and region.
We believe that the long-term viability of
our hospital will be enhanced by the support
of the community as expressed by their gifts
to the Hospital's Foundation Funds. |
