Patient Education
Prenatal Classes
This class is designed to teach first-time parents
what to expect during the birth of their baby. It
is open to all expectant parents and offers a complete
childbirth program consisting of prenatal exercises,
relaxation, and breathing techniques for labor and
birth. The birthing process, breast feeding, bottle
feeding and newborn care are taught. Also included
is a tour of the Birthing Center. In order to meet
the needs of our busy parents our classes are taught
on Sat. from 8am to 4pm. Included in the day is
breakfast, snacks and lunch. Please register for
classes by calling the Birthing Center at 269-659-4255.
The fee for the class is $30.00. You will receive
a special gift and a booklet to take home with you
for your review.
