Colon Medical Clinic    Dr. Vega   Vega, Luis M.D. Board Certified in family practice, Dr. Luis Vega joined the late Dr. Smith at the Colon Medical Clinic. Dr, Vega bought the clinic when Dr. Smith retired. Dr. Vega has previous experience from practices in Kansas and Puerto Rico. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Autonoma of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic and went on to complete his residency at Bella Vista Hospital in Puerto Rico. A family practitioner, Dr. Vega also performs minor surgeries. Dr. Vega belongs to the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Practice and the Michigan State Medical Society. Dr. Vega's family includes his wife, Dennisse, their three children, Rames, Orlando and Amaury, and the family dog, Tobi.
